HISTORY

The True Colors English Language Learning Academy was founded in 2003 by Mr. Luis A. Castellanos in the city of Jocotenango, Sacatepéquez. It started as a small project, with only 3 teachers and 120 students, with the desire to assist students of another English academy that would soon close its doors and in which Mr. Castellanos worked.

The city of Jocotenango was not a very suitable place to open an English school. At least it was not compared to the neighboring cities that receive more tourist attention and therefore, more influence of English. However, Mr. Castellanos was known by his students for his charisma, respect and dedication to his students, and that is how what started as a small project, became a crowded building of students eager to learn English.
